I would like you on FarmCo before we open it up
You are getting this link because I know your food, or because we have worked together before. This is not the page everybody sees. I am inviting a small number of farms I already trust to come on first, while I still have the time to set each of you up myself.
FarmCo has been rebuilt, and the thing that changed is not the website. It is what sits behind it.
An online marketplace that finally meets the real world. Your gate, your days, your schedule.
Customers order online. You hand it over in person, from your own farm gate, your barn, your shop, or a shared point down the road if that suits you better. You can run more than one collection point. You choose which days you do it, and you can change your mind next week.
It runs to the same rhythm every week, so it stops being a decision. The point of all of it is that you spend your time producing good food, not rewriting order lists, chasing payments and working out who is collecting what and when.
This works whatever you have set up already
What it costs, for farms coming on now
Commission on your own base price. You keep the delivery fee in full. No listing fees, no monthly fee, no tie in, and nothing at all until you sell something.
I will be straight with you about why it is this low right now. We are about to start onboarding a lot more farms, and the rate for producers joining after that will be higher. Delivery in particular goes back to 7.5%. Coming on in the next few weeks is what holds these.
The week, in four lines
- Tuesday night orders close, the same for every farm on the platform.
- Wednesday morning your list arrives, picking and packing sheets ready to print.
- Your chosen day between Wednesday and Sunday, you hand over. Your gate, your points, or your own round.
- Then you are paid automatically. No invoicing and no chasing.
What I am actually asking for is a few weeks of your patience while it beds in. In return you get me on the end of the phone, your farm set up by hand rather than by a form, and first pick of your collection day before the calendar fills.
If it is not for you, no hard feelings and no follow up. And if you know another farm who should be on this list, tell me and I will approach them properly rather than sending them a form.
